It seems to me that the card isn't worth it for most folks due to price/benefits offered. Amex platinum or Citi Chairman is better.

I got the card, despite the opinions in the other thread, because I was going to get the president's club membership anyway. Fly mostly business class international, so club access isn't a problem. But I fly enough economy domestically to make club access worth it for me.
I do think they should give miles for it, however.
