Question
Every once in a while, I have an experience with a customer service person where I realize a person is on the other end of the line. Today was one such day.
I've been churning some AA cards, and just opened a new one. I called to activate it and the rep got on the line to confirm a few things.
Then:
Rep: So, may I ask why you chose Citibank AAdavntage? Wait - I think I know. But I'll ask anyways.
Me: Well, I've been happy with Citi in the past. And I like the mileage bonuses.
Rep: (Giggles) Yep, I thought so!
I don't know why, but this just cracked me up. And of course proves that you know the reps must get some amusement watching people like us with a ton of cards and a gazillion sign-up miles!
