Can you do that with Air Miles Rewards?

Yes. You can use the MBNA Canada Starwood Mastercard (https://wwwn.applyonlinenow.com/CANapp/Ctl/redirect?CV_sourceCode=beqp&CV_language=en) to accumulate points, and then transfer them to Flying Blue.
