Question
I signed up for a Citibank Credit Card Platinum. They called me and said I was also available for a Citibank Business Professional Card also or instead of the Platinum. Larger Credit limit and had more benefits with the same 0% offer as the Platinum.
Is there any catch to this? I do not own a business. They know that. Just wondering technically what the difference is or is just another way for companies to get more cards in the hand of consumers?
Answer
The one catch I guess is that consumer laws may not apply to biz cards, making it a little harder to contest a charge.

My understanding is that the Citi Professional card is a consumer card and not a business card (even though it has rewards that are similar to other business cards).
