The tiers on the gas rebate are pretty good:
0–$1,000 5.5%
$1,001–$2,000 6%
$2,001–$4,000 8%
$4,001+ 10%

If you spend $1750 on gas within the 6 months, you'll earn $100 in savings, which is roughly the same amount of award you get for signing up with a credit card that has no annual fee.
That means you have to spend a little over $290 in gas every month, which is about $71 a week. If you're the only one who uses this card and you drive an average sedan with an average commute, it's very unlikely you'll even achieve the amount of 'sign up bonus' you actually should be getting.
Otherwise, the 5% rewards for everyday purchases is nice since other companies (Citi, Chase) decided to do away with it.
