Suggestion business card for 'new' business

Question
Do you have a suggestion for a business credit card for a brand new business (days old).
The owner has good credit and would back it up.
I would prefer a Citi card that earns AA miles, but Citi requires 2 years of financials.
Any suggestions?

I have 2 Citibank AA credit cards and have only been asked for business income, never 2 years of financials. Many people on Flyertalk are obtaining a Citi AA businees credit cards with just a social security number as a sole proprietor. Where did you get this info and have you looked at any online applications?

You are correct! Got a AA CITI MASTERCARD a couple of weeks ago via online application.
BTW, AMEX asks (on online application): "years in operation?".

The problem is that this is a true entity that will have a separte EIN# (separte social security number) than the owner (even though the owner will gurantee it).
When I have done this in the past Citi has requested financials and corporate documentation showing basically that that EIN# exists. The problem is the financials...the entity is only 5 days old.

If the owner has a valid ssn and excellent credit and... is willing to co-sign the loan then the credit card can be issued with his name and the business name on it. Business cards are not normally issued on the credit of the business alone until credit is established or financials are available. There are way too many immigrants trying to play games like this now, so they have to protect themselves against money laundering, fraud and just people who legally do not have a right to a card getting one.

How about the new Starwood Amex Business card? Transfer 20K starpoints into 25K AA miles.

My favorites are the Advanta Platinum BusinessCard with Rewards MasterCard, Chase Business Card with Premier Cash Rebate Visa, and the Citi Business® Card with ThankYou Network MasterCard. I use the first two because of the categories in which I spend the most. Each of those cards are good in different categories (professional services, electronics, web advertising and hosting, restaurants, gas, etc.) and have percentages that vary from 3% to 5%. They also have different maximum rewards. I'd suggest plugging your category spending amounts into the business cards calculator at http://www.creditcardtuneup.com/?card_type=Business to find the best cards for your spending profile.

All of my card AA Citibank business cards were obtained with FEIN # for our business and I have never been asked for any financials or any other documentation.
I have done the same with a United Mileage Plus Business card with Chase and they also did not require any documentation.
