NW Worldperks Visa -- not getting double miles for direct NW ticket purchase

Question
I checked my wp account and was recently credited with my last month of credit card purchases, but last month I also purchased two airline tickets over the phone with NW reservations. In the program rules, you are supposed to receive 2 miles for every dollar spent on direct purchases with NW. I only received the standard 1 dollar for those tickets.
Does the extra mile take longer to be credited? If anyone has any experience with this, I'd love some help.
Tim

Answer
I'm going to take a wild guess and say you'll get an answer if you call the number on the back of your card and ask the customer service rep. :D

Answer
I only got 1 mile per dollar on two RT tickets last month too...
I have the Platinum Card... and when I looked up info, it only offers 1 mile per dollar.

Answer
I also thought I read somewhere stating that I'm supposed to get 2 miles per dollar when I use my WP Visa card to purchase NW tix :td:

You are, if you have the Signature Visa. The Plat Visa doesn't allow you to earn double miles on nwa.com purchases.

That answered the question. Thank you ^

Answer
If you buy a lot of NW tickets directly, it is definitely worth having the Signature card for the double miles on Northwest tickets. Even if I buy intra-European tickets, I often purchase from nwa.com versus directly from klm.com because (1) I earn the double miles on the Signature card and (2) I avoid the 3% foreign exchange fee by buying in U.S. dollars directly from Northwest versus KLM. If I ever had to buy directly from KLM, I'd chuck the signature Visa card and buy with an alternate card that only charges 1% foreign exchange fee.
