My MP Visa CC bill just arrived today, with a weird 10-cent charge from the "Islamic Center of Irvi [some 972- phone number] TX". The charge posted on the same day I was flying MCO-IAD with my family.
Google wasn't helpful (actually, it was too helpful...).
Anyone else seen anything like that? Is it in any way MP or travel related? It seems almost like a bogus "test" to see if the CC number is good.

Seems to be in the Garland, TX area.
It does seem to be a test to find out the validity of the credit card.

I just entered it as a disputed charge on Chase's web site.
It seems weird that it's for a day I travelled on. If it's fraud, I wonder if it's targeted at frequent fliers?
And if it's not fraud, where the heck did it come from?

Call the credit card company NOW! Someone illegally obtained your credit card number and you need to close that account number ASAP. Have them re-issue a new card with a new account number. I know it's a pain, but you really need to do this ASAP.
My mother had a similar experience and AMEX proactively called her and told her that they were closing the account. They sent her a new card with a new account number within 3 days.

Seriously, for your piece of mind - call the CC company, and press 0 until you speak to someone and share your concern.

Just a heads up. When my CC card was stolen, they did a test fire by making a small donation to a random charity. When that cleared, they unloaded the big purchases (on the order of $1000).
I was lucky that my CC company (MBNA) caught the larger one and removed both charges. Might not be the case here, but just another reason to cancel the CC and get it re-issued.

Donating to Islamic charities, huh? Didn't know this one was a front for terrorist, yeah sure. We don't care that it was a de minimis amount, you're going on the do-not-fly list.
