Question
What other cards out there allow you to earn MP miles? The following are the ones I know about:
Starwood Amex--0.5 miles/dollar
MP Visa--1-2 miles/dollar (depending on whether you're using Platinum on gas/grocery/restaurants)
Chase Rewards PLUS--0.8-4.25 miles/dollar (if using on gas/grocery/restaurants)
Any others I don't know about?
Answer
Do they still offer their branded travel card? Just for charging UAL items, but I thought it gave miles too.
Answer
just bumping. . .anyone?
Answer
Intercontinental Hotel Group Priority Club points convert 10000:2000 to Mileage Plus. Strictly speaking any card that can earn Priority Club points can be said to earn UA miles, but on a very diluted basis. For example, 8750 Diners Club Rewards points converts to 10,500 Priority Club points which can be converted to 2,000 UA miles (with a 500 point remainder). 0.23 miles per dollar, but I doubt this is what you mean.
Answer
Hilton and Mariott cards come to mind. I imagine most or all hotel cards convert to United. Take a look at my website below in Credit Cards > Free Cards to find a bunch of them.
Answer
It looks like Chase Rewards PLUS--0.8-4.25 miles/dollar (if using on gas/grocery/restaurants) is the best value for money. It does not even has an annual fee.
Answer
I can't find this specific card anywhere on the Chase web site. Do you have a link?

I think the Chase Cash Plus and Rewards Plus cards are only still available if you apply at a branch. See, e.g., this thread at FatWallet:

Answer
What about the Starwood Amex? Once you get 20000 points you can convert to 25000 miles on UA (and many other airlines).

Not UA, unfortunately. Many other *A, including US, Thai, ANA, Asiana, and LH. For some reason, Starwood has a 2:1 ratio with UA MP.

There was a web site link through which I applied. It is not availible through telephone as the CSR had no knowledge of it. Also chase does not advertise this. I dont know why. Sorry I do not have a link to this site anymore but I am sure if you do some search on this forum, you will find it.
Answer
If you read the threads on FW you can apply for "Chase Cash Rewards" in person at Chase branches. This card only gives cash bank bonus.
"Chase Rewards Plus" is not longer issued. Chase stoped issueing the card around Oct of last year. Well around July except there was hidden web page were you were able to apply for the card till about end of OCT.
Answer
There is no annual fee on this credit card which makes it somewhat attractive. You can also earn mypoints for reading advertising emails. You earn about 5 mypoints/per email. You earn 1 mypoint/per dollar spent
