Question
Has anyone else noticed this not-so-incredible "offer" on the T&C for the AA Platinum CC?

APRs & Card Benefits § Terms and Conditions
• 18.24% APR on Balance Transfers for 6 months§, then just 18.24%.
Could someone please explain the logic of the above introductory balance transfer "offer"? An 18.24% intro rate, followed by an 18.24 rate thereafter.
Is this a mistake, or is there really no intro offer on balance transfers?

If you take a look at the card summary on citi.com, there are several cards with similar interest rates and a similar intro balance transfer rate "feature." Pretty funny.
I think they need to improve their marketing to compete with other cards. The intro 18.24% period should be at least for 12 months. Hey, they could make it something like 24 or 48 months and be really ahead of all those other cards! :)

My intepretation is that they are simply stating that the rates on intro purchases and balance transfers are the same as the standard purchase rate. This is their way of saying that there is no special offer.
