Question
I'm considering changing my Citibank Clear over to a BP Citibank Mastercard (http://www.citibank.com.au/portal/citiwm_home_center.jsp?frameset=centerFrameset&productID=CreditCards&path=/augcb/english/prod/det/cards_bp.htm&frameval1=wowWorkID&framevar1=workID) because I think the benefits far outweigh the negatives.
# Save at BP - 5% off your petrol and everything else you buy at BP
# Save everywhere else - 1% off everything else you buy anywhere
# Save on your credit card - 6.9%p.a. for 6 months for all balances transferred
# Apply now and you'll also receive a $50 BP pre-paid card on first use of your credit card
While it doesn't stipulate that the discounts applied are for BP Australia purchased only, am I the only person that assumes this would be the case?
