Question
Hey guys, Mexico´s Citi AAdvantage gives you 1.5 miles for every 1 USD you spent or its equivalent in mexican pesos, is there any other country that does this or is it Mexico the only country that gives this around the world? They also gave me 25,000 miles for signing in plus no annual fee for the first year (anual fee is 73 USD).

Are transactions on this card in Pesos or US Dollars?
Answer
In mexican pesos. You need to pay for the card in Mexican pesos. But it is the best card I have so far. Not even the HSBC Delta Skymiles that has no anual fee and gives you 1 miles per 1 USD you spend or its equivalent in pesos has something to do with the Citi Advantage from Banamex (a member of citigroup), nor the Banorte Bank that gives you 1 Mexicana Mile per every 0.60 cents of USD you spend and has a 40 USD anual fee. Those are my 3 mexican credit cards that keep me flying for free.
Answer
Is there an annual fee?
Do you have a link to the offer?
Thanks.

The offer was given only on the 26th of july and if you applied by internet. There were adds at the mexican hotmail and also at their website. It was mentioned in the offer that it was because of the 25th aniversary of the AAdvantage program. At this moment they are offering exactly the same but without the 25,000 miles and only give you 10,000 miles. The link for Citibank Mexico is:
http://www.banamex.com/esp/personal/tarjetas/tarjetas_rewards_aa.html
and other link with the offer in hotmail cant seem to find it at the moment, but will post it a soon as I see it.
