Credit Cards offering Thank You Points

Question
Given the popularity of Citi's Thank You Points program, I thought it would be worthwhile posting all the credit cards that currently offer TY Points. Remember, they can all be pooled into one account if the primary cardholder is the same. It also appears that two different primary account holders in the same household can each have their own set of cards.
AT&T Universal Card (10k bonus points, no annual fee)
Citi Premier Pass (10k bonus points, no annual fee)
Citi Premier Pass Elite (15k bonus points, $75 annual fee)
Citi Premier Pass Business (15k bonus points, $75 annual fee waived 1st year)
Diamond Preferred Rewards (10k bonus points, no annual fee)
Chairman's Card (?,?)
Citi Banking
Also, there is no obvious reason why a single primary account holder cannot have all of the above cards simultaneously. Obviously this opens up possibilities of 60k bonus points, not to mention the Chairman's card, for a nominal fee of $75 the first year. I think I've got some card-shopping to do!
Others please contribute additional information and I will update this post.

Answer
Citi Professional (10k bonus, no annual fee) 3 points on restaurants, gas stations, certain office supply merchants and for auto rentals
Citi Simplicity Rewards (10k bonus, no annual fee, 5 points on gas and pharamacy for first 12 months)
Driver's Edge (You earn rebates which can be cashed out when you buy a car or have service done, or traded in for TY points, where $1 in rebates = 100 TY points, 6% rebates on supermarkets, drugstores, and gas stations for 12 months, 3% after that, plus "drive rebates" which are similar to how premierpass works - you can match every spend rebate-cent with 1 drive rebate-cent, 1 drive rebate-cent = 1 mile, now i sort of wish i had kept this card to do 2 TY points per $ on matches, no annual fee unlike PP elite)
Citi Business with TY (10k bonus normal, 15k bonus link out there, no annual fee)
Citi mtvU for Students (no annual fee, 5 points at restaurants, bookstores, record stores, movie theaters, and video rental stores, 25 points per month when you pay on time and don’t go over your credit limit, up to 2000 points per year based on GPA)
Could still be missing some.
And as far as having them all at the same time, you can only apply for 2 in 60 days. On top of that, its pretty unheard of to have more than 4 or 5 Citi personal cards at once.
Edit: added bonus info, assumed 1 point per $ on everything else

Answer
I believe my AT&T Universal Card loses the 5 TY points per dollar spent at grocery stores and gas stations after a year. Is there any reason that I can't close my card an reapply for a new one and get the 5 points again?
Or if that fails, go with the Diamond Preferred card and get the same deal?
If I'm going to have to pay at the pump, it would be great to get the 150+ bonus points per tank or 500 points in the grocery store for an extended period of time.

You sure about that? AFAIK, Diamond Preferred is the one that loses 5x after 1 year, Universal Rewards is indefinite. One thing you can always do is convert the card. So if your Univ Rewards 5x does end, convert to Diamond Pref at the end of the 1st year. That gives you another year. At the end of that year, convert back, etc. This saves you the inquiries on your credit report, but you lose out on the sign-up bonuses.
Driver's Edge is another good choice due to the 6x during the first year (which can additionally be matched with driving miles for up to 12x). If you do convert to this for this reason, make sure you ask for the one with the Options program, not the Charter program.

I don't think the Charter program exists anymore. I no longer have my driver's edge card as I consolidated it into another account a couple months ago. However, about a year ago, I recieved a letter stating I had been switched to the Options program.

This topic is what finally ended me up on this forum. I have been aware of the Citi Diamond Preferred Rewards card and heard of an offer with 10,000 bonus points and the 5X points for gas, supermarkets, and drugstores with 1 point for everything else. However, the fine print is different based on the link one visits. From the main Citi web page, it appears that the 5X is ongoing, but only gives 5,000 sign up points: http://citi.bridgetrack.com/usc/diamond/generic/diam/default.htm?ProspectID=8D7C50207028493082850094A50 3447B&sc=4D3Z67Q5&m=3CAG000000W&B=M&app=UNSOL&langId=EN&siteId=CB
Another link gives the 10,000 bonus points, but appears to limit the 5X to 12 months: https://www.accountonline.com/ACQ/Chooser/LearnMore?siteId=CB&CARD_KEYS=4D3Z56B6-M
So with all that confusion, I found the AT&T Universal Rewards Card that everything lists 10,000 bonus points and does not state a 12 month limit on gas, etc. at this link: http://www.universalcard.com/us/cards/ucs/compare_01.htm
So can anyone help to clarify?

Honestly, no I'm not sure. The fine print of the glossy insert that came with the card stated that some cards removed the reward after 12 months. I haven't been able to find out whether or not mine does.
I may just give a call and find out.

I just called the AT&T Universal folks twice now. One rep told me it was limited to 12 months and another told me it was no longer offered. Does anyone have any experience with any of the three offers I mentioned earlier?

That's what I thought too. But I recently converted a card to Driver's Edge and received a nasty surprise when I got one with Charter instead of Options (which is what I really wanted).

Welcome to Flyertalk Repro. The only thing I can say for sure is that if Citi says ends in 12 months, they mean it. I had a Diamond Pref card that did end in 12 months. There may still be offers out there for Diamond Pref that keep the permanent 5x. The people that got the card before the change to 12 months have been grandfathered in. The confusion RE: AT&T Universal is that the AT&T Universal Cash Rewards card was terminated recently. But the AT&T Universal Rewards card is still alive. Many people have reported getting the 5x indefinitely. I would get that one and print out a copy of the T&C just in case.

Thanks for the list of cards. However, I'm wondering about the pooling of rewards. I have the Chairman card, and it might make sense for me to have another card to get 5x rewards on certain purchases. However, the chairman card terms and conditions say:
j) You may not transfer any of your total ThankYou Points to any Citi PremierPassSM Card that you
may have.
http://www.smithbarney.com/pdf/chairmanbook.pdf
Would this preclude using another card, say to get 5x purchase points I could match with flight points?

Answer
The Chairman card offers no bonus miles at signup. I received the Premierpass elite level card (15k bonus/$75 annual fee) and was told that I could upgrade to the Chairman for $400 minus the $75 prorated PP annual fee. This way I can get the 15k bonus and the Chairman benefits. I was told that there would only be one credit check. Has anyone else tried this?

I just converted a non points paying citi choice visa that i've had since 1989 to a Diamond rewards for the 5 points on groc/gas/ phar purchases. I seldom used the card but plan to use the diamond rewards for these specific purchases instead of my Amex Plat business or business premier pass. Each card has its advantages.
When the year is up I will convert to the AT&T rewards. I should have converted to it in the first place but was unaware that the 5 points per dollar spent does not have the 12 month limit. I base this on information on www.cardoffers.com which is an excellent website for card comparisons, it's a great site. look at it and see if you draw the same conclusion.

I upgraded from a Premier Pass elite to the Chairman Card. There was no additional credit check.

From reading that site and the link directly from universalcard.com, I would come to the same conclusion. However, I just called their application line at 800.662.7759 and was told it had a 12 month limit! I have no clue who is correct or how to find out.

That is the way it seems to me. Thanks for the information.
I have to wonder how they make any money on 5 points per dollar when merchants are paying less than that in commisions. In our business we are paying 1.7% average. I'm sure many points go unused and of course they make a nice profit on those who pay interest charges.

I would interpret this to mean that you cannot transfer your Chairman's card TY points directly to your PP card account; the reason they would preclude this is because PP TY Points are 'matchable' by flight points, and they don't want this to be possible.
However, TY points themselves ARE poolable in a single TY Network account, as long as the primary account holder is the same for each account that you want pooled. Thus you can 'send' your Chairmans card-earned TY points, your PP-earned flight/purchase/spend points, and your Citibank-earned TY points all to the same TY Network account.

I started using my dormant AT&T Universal Rewards Card and was surprised to find that only 1X TY points were creditted for purchases at supermarkets and gas stations. I thought I should be receiving 5X TY points for these purchases. I called CSR and was offered no explanation. Is anyone out there still receiving 5X TY points for selected purchases? Was this a recent change?

I still receive 5x points; I've had the card for 3 years, so I think I got it before they made it for '12 months only.' check the terms from when you originally got the card.

Answer
psychtube and others,
I have also been receiving 5X thankyou points at gas, grocery, and drugstores and my card never had an expiration of 5X thankyou points. What is interesting is that up until a few days ago when I logged in online and clicked the charter member section the savings and rewards section mentioned the 5X thankyou points at gas, grocery, and drugstores. Now, it states "Get ThankYou Points for every $1 you spend on purchases." So I'm wondering if Citibank has decided to stop offering the 5X points although I would think they would need to notify us in advance of any changes in the terms and conditions of the earnings structure. I know they can change the points redemptions level without notifying us but I am pretty certain they need to let us know if they are dropping the 5X points. My statement closes in a few days so will update everyone on what I earned.

Answer
Joe1690,
did you get a chance to find out if they reverted to 1x points? I'm still trying to figure out which card has the "permanent" 5x points!
thanks..

Answer
On my last statement I still received 5X thankyou points on all gas, grocery, and drugstores. So the answer would be that at least on my account I still have the 5X points. Hope this helps.

I converted to a Citi Dividend Plat rewards card with the same bonuses. Then I was offered a 5x offer for all restaurants through 12/31/06. Now I hear they are going to terminate all the 5x bonuses, so they may not offer you this option any longer.

The Chairman Card is unlimited. However, the card will not be available again until next year and will be difficult to get.
