Question
I've read all the posts on this issue and gone to the Priority Passport and Citi Chairman's Card web sites and there certainly is conflicting information. Several FTers who received the Chairman's Card recently say the Priority Passport language, when it is received later, indicates you can bring up to two guests with you for free at any participating location. Yet both the Citi and Priority Passport web sites still say the pass is good only for the member only and others will be charged on your Passport card account.
Has anyone who got their Priority Passport as a result of getting the Chairman card BEEN REFUSED ENTRY WITH UP TO TWO GUESTS AT A PARTICIPATING PP LOUNGE? Is there varying treatment on this issue at different PP lounges? I'm thinking seriously of getting the Chairman's card principally because of the Passport card but only if it's with the free guest condition. I don't trust the varying answers I've had from Citi CSRs and, as usual, would trust FTers experiences much more. Thanks.
PS. Am I correct in guessing that some of the non-particpating lounges might be those of AF, where they seem to never let in guests - just the actual holder of a J or F ticket or an individual Skyteam Elite Plus member?
Answer
I have had the Cahirman card since Sept 2005...and it was CONFIRMED to me by a CITI CSR and Priority Pass email newsletter as of DEC 2005 that all Priority Pass holders thru Chairman Card are entitled to bring 1 guest free of charge...
Some lounges allow more guests, but that is up to that lounge...You will have to look at the directory and see what lounge will allow a certain amount of people...
My brother took 2 people and himself into the Aeromexico lounge in Monterrey and has not recieved any charges yet. I have not taken anyone in yet, but I usually travel alone...

I just received my card in April 2006. I was told by the CSR that 2 guests were allowed. The documentation that I received with my Chairman Card is below. However, I have never tried to get guests into a club.
"As a cardmember, you have been automatically enrolled into Priority Pass, which permits you unlimited airport lounge visits at participating Priority Pass lounges.
In, addition (you as the primary cardholder) may bring up to two guests to the participating Priority Pass lounges per visit at no additional cost."
