Recent 0% for life credit card offers?

Question
Does anyone have any current info on how to get 0% for life other than the discover card deal?

Answer
To this date I have not seen any cards that have a 0 F apr for Life.
Only way someone has NO Finance chargs if they pay account full every month.
Banks have to make only one way
One by Finance Charges
or Annual Membership fee
Late Charges or Overlimit Fees

It might occur infrequently, but the offers do exist!

Not sure what is out there right now for 0% for life besides the Discover card. I have been taking advantage of the Discover offer of 0% for life for the past couple of years, faithfully charging a couple of dollars each month (I need to charge at least 2 charges of at least $1 each per month to keep my 0%). But I still have $7000 of their money, slowing charging and slowly paying it off. I am starting to pay some interest on the past two years of $2 charges but it is still a good deal considering that the $7000 is making money in my brokerage account.

Thanks for taking the time to elaborate-I'm gonna see if I can still get it...

I held this card for years before getting this unusual offer. You're more likely to be offered 1.9% for life at some point.
Keep in mind that the only way that an offer like this makes sense is to stop using the card for future purchases. The card company applies payments to the outstanding balances with the lowest interest rate first. In the mean time, your additional purchases are accruing interest at the much higher normal interest rate.

Answer
Which was free no fee transfer and fee free charges for 2 years. Afterwards the entire balance would get a 4.9% APR. I took advantage of the offer and paid it off within 2 years.
Discover also had an 0% balance transfer for life.

Answer
Given the direction interest rates have gone, I would think it would be really hard to find cc companies offering 0% for life. I rec'd an offer of 3.99% for life several months ago, which I took advantage of to pay off my heloc which had a rate of prime + 1 (now 8.75%).

More than a year ago, Providian had invitation only 0% for life deal for new visa card members with two purchase per billing cycle. It's the same deal as discover card. With the merger with Wamu, I don't know if they still have such a good deal any more.

I wonder who will change? WAMU might become the same trash that PROVIDIAN is or they may stay seperate. PROVIDIAN is too deep in poor/crappy management, customer service, products, supervisors, operations, card holders and lawsuits to change.

I've had no problems with Providian. Could you elaborate?
(Incidentally WAMU has screwed up tax payments on my mortgage several times.)

Funny, that's happened to me several times with them. They were also screwing payments to principal. My house had suddenly moved into a flood plain (they signed me up for insurance even after talking to them). I must have had to call them 25+ times in 1 year. I finally said enough, moved the whole mortage to a variable heloc, and went shopping for a refinance, with specific instructions for it not to be sold to WaMu.

Both Prov and Wamu had some computer problems.
