I probably will be moving to the UK next year, so this thread is very interesting to me. Looking at the rewards on the ones you already have..these rewards seem rather weak.
Are there any American credit cards worth keeping and using in the UK? (i.e. no "international" fee tacked on?)

I have a Morgan Stanley Buy and Fly card which I don't use very much, if at all. Buy and Fly is pretty much a new starter in the Loyalty scheme business and their online presence leaves a lot to be desired (no facility to redeem or transfer points via the Internet, redemptions require a phone call to their customer service centre). You will probably be better off with their cashback platinum card.
Incidentally MBNA have a 20K sign up bonus on their BMI Mastercard (2 points per pound spent), versus 5K for Citibank's AAdvantage and 5K points for Beneficial's HHonors card. Personally I find most British credit card providers lacking somewhat behind their American counterparts when it comes to redemption opportunities and bonus deals.
