Has anyone applied for any of the airline affinity "business cards" and successfully rec'd them with the bonus miles with out having an individual business?
Currently, I am a consultant and travel 100% of the time and although I rack up about $5000 per month in expenses I am an employee so I don't know how I could get the add'l cards with bonuses. I'd like to get United, AA and the DL business AMEX but when it comes to filling out the app I don't know how to qualify as an employee of another company.
Has anyone successfully done this? Thanks...

I am a consultant with a Chase Continental Biz card. Just give your consulting biz a name, have the gross income available, and apply just like any other card. Your personal credit will guarantee the card, but it won't show up on your personal credit reports (unless you default). No need for EIN's or anything else, just list yourself as a sole proprietor.
