ned and mrs. ned both just received new British Airways Visa cards with the Chase logo on them. Our cards were not due to expire or up for renewal. With the cards came the following message: “ To thank you for being a loyal Cardmember, we’re giving you a special offer: Earn Double BA Miles on all new purchases made with your new credit card from February 1, 2006 through April 30 3006.” Was this targeted or is everybody receiving new cards with this offer?

I just loged into my account and it shows a new credit card account. I guess they are issuing new cards and new accounts to old customers. I hope I get that offer too... I am ready to charge... :)

I also got the double miles offer with the new card, Mrs. USAFAN did not get such an offer. So, it might be targeted.

I also received the new card with the double miles offer. There was also offer for a balance transfer at 4.99% for the life of the balance.
