MBNA Mastercard - soon bills available online

Question
I tried to search on this subject but I don't think I have enough posts to do so. I phoned MBNA because I have a Starwoods MC and am frustrated that:
a. I can't see my bill online
b. I can't download my statement into Quicken
(Bank of Montreal MC allows for both)
When I talked to customer service they told me that soon (by December?) we will be able to see our bill online. She didn't know about being able to download into Quicken. Has anyone else raised these questions with MBNA and know the answer?

Answer

This isn't 1999, is it? I absolutely cannot believe that they have not stepped into the 21st century and embraced the digital world. Points or not, if I did not have the ability to coordinate my finances for common place dealings like credit cards, cell phone, banking, etc. over the 'net, I'd choose another organization to deal with.

This really isn't a *wood question - I'm moving it to the Credit Card Programs (Other) Forum to allow the conversation to continue there.

I too have had this issue, and inquire about every 2 months, was told june, then sept, then nov. Mbna usa is online, there really is not technical reason. This really screws up my expense filing, and I advised mbna I would stop using until they go online...no comment from them!!
Keep calling, keep demanding, and tell them you'll stop using! Is this thread *wood or c/c? - *wood should take an interest, as mbna bears their name, and this service failure stops usage

Answer
MBNA Canada has shall we say been less than slow in moving online - not sure why the delay - when I ask I do not get anywhere with them

Answer
@:-) MBNA uses <www.ibsnetaccess.com (http://www.ibsnetaccess.com/)> for their WorldPoints VISA online portal .. you 'might' be able to register another of their cards.
Customer Service folks aren't always the sharpest pins in the drawer

I think that it was inappropriate to move this thread from the SPG Forum. We were talking about the SPG MBNA MASTERCARD!!! Hello! :o
... Anyhow, I just called MBNA to talk about my SPG Mastercard. I usually get nice service and courteous people over there and the customer representative was polite and nice until I asked about our MBNA Account being online soon... The guy was like... yeah! yeah! it's coming soon, in a month or so... Isn't strange that they are nice until we ask the "online thing" question? I think it's making them (MBNA reps.) worried about their jobs because once everything is online with MBNA Canada we won't have to call them for everything like we do right now... get my drift???

I second that. Move the thread back into SPG forum. "Current Amex sign-up bonus?" thread is still here, but for some reason SPG MBNA thread does not belong here

Maybe we were "tossed" away because the thread is related to Canadians, "swept to the side" and "under the rug"...

"The account number you entered is associated with MBNA Canada. We do not offer online account access for MBNA Canada accounts. To access our home page for information about MBNA Canada, click on www.mbna.com/canada."

Answer
This subject was moved from the SPG Forum by someone who did not understand that this thread was about the SPG Mastercard. Yes, the title was "MBNA Mastercard" but we were talking about the SPG Mastercard and now, this thread is not getting the attention it deserves. :td: I wished someone (a moderator or whatever) from Canada could bring this thread where it belongs; in the SPG Forum.

Answer
Eventually you'll be able to view your MBNA accounts on www.bankofamerica.com, but this may take a while (BofA just bought MBNA).

Are you sure?
When you go to MBNA's U.S. website's homepage, you can access your account, whereas on the Canadian site, they ask you to call for account information, so it makes sense that at one point the Canadian site will get the same online feature as the U.S. one.
And it's still a MBNA-branded card rather than BofA.

Answer
Yes. BofA is going to fold MBNA's cards into its BankAmericard operations, though it's going to take a while to integrate the systems.

Looks very cool. Nice site. Only took a minute to sign-up.
Also like how they have statement history for the past 12 months - impressive.
Worth the wait, I'd say!

Answer
Has anyone been successful downloading from MBNA online into Quicken or Microsoft Money?
Every time I try it it doesn't work.

Answer
It is now available and online........
