Citi Dividend Card - Earn 5% Cash Back this Holiday Season

Question
Dear SOhp101,
As a valued Citi® Dividend Cardmember, here's another chance to earn more cash back when you shop for everyone on your list this holiday season.
Activate this offer by 11/30/05 and you can earn a full 5% cash back* on purchases made at department stores until 12/31/05 when you use your Citi® Dividend Card**.
*Earn up to $300 Dividend Dollars in a calendar year payable in checks of at least $50 only upon your request. Additional terms and conditions apply. For complete details, see the Citi Dividend Directory of Services.
**In order to qualify for this offer, your card account referenced above must be open and not in default under any Card Agreement at all times. If your account is closed for any reason, including if you convert to another card product, you may no longer qualify for this offer. Department Stores are defined as large stand-alone merchants selling a general line of merchandise from departments that usually have separate checkout counters. Online catalog, mail order and telephone purchases are not eligible unless the merchants identify the transactions as being made at a department store. We do not determine whether merchants correctly identify and bill transactions as being made at a department store. However, we do reserve the right to determine which purchases are eligible for this offer.
I wouldn't mind taking out this card for the holidays... :p But I do wonder if the ML+ card or amex *wood will have any promos either...

The thread you linked is for an ATT card. Did you mean to link something else?
I have the Citi Dividend card and I'm pretty happy with it. I gave up my miles earning card because the total return looked better on the Dividend card (and no annual fee).

They're sort of the same card. Citi offers AT&T versions of three of their cards (Platinum Select, Dividend Platinum, Diamond Preferred). Basically everything is the same except with the AT&T versions you earn bonus points on AT&T purchases as well (woohoo!). So I would file this under the sorta-repost category.
