Question
Anyone aware of any bonuses for this card, which pays 2% into a Fidelity 529?
Also, I believe that fees for Fidelity accounts are waived if paper statements are suppressed. Can anyone confirm?
Answer
I dont know about the paper statement but if you have $30,000 in combined balance of all household accounts then there is no fee
Answer
It's true with the regular brokerage accounts (though there may still be minimum balance requirements). I'm not sure about the 529s. If you look at their web site:
http://personal.fidelity.com/planning/college/content/fidelity_managed_529_plans_even.shtml
you can see their program details. Picking one at random, the MA plan has a $20 annual fee that is "waived with automatic investments, direct deposit or if the combined value of accounts with the same beneficiary is $25,000 or more."
AFAIK, no bonus offers for the card.
