Trying to find a good card for my husband. Previously he had NWAs Visa - he dumped it because he didn't want to pay the annual fee when it rolled around. Now we're in need of another card and NWA has a great promo with bonus miles right now. I've been told by NWAs customer service that he'd have to wait 2 yrs to sign back up for a card to be eligible for bonus points. Thought I'd just ck here to see if anyone had any better luck with this situation than I've had. Thx

That's probably true. I originally thought it was a one time deal, but if CS said 2 years, then I would bank on that. No experience though, as I have cancelled my WP card about 2 years ago and haven't applied ever since.

You might also want to get that 2 years thing in writing. Most of what I've seen on this board (sorry, can't find the links right now) seem to indicate it's a once in a lifetime deal. What you can do is apply for the card in your name and get your husband a supplementary card. The bonus miles would of course go into your WP account though...
