Are you looking at a statement or your unbilled activity? I never see an itinerary before the statement actually posts. Also, do you get paper statements or electronic statements? On my paper statements, I used to see the itinerary posted. With electronic statements, I no longer do (kinda annoying). But even without being able to see the flight info with my electronic statements, I have been receiving my flight points just fine. Otherwise if you're getting paper statements w/o itinerary info, hopefully someone else here might be able to help you...
Answer
thanks for the reply. I am looking at the electronic statement. I no longer receive paper statement.
I will see if the points come up in my next statement.
Answer
Don't worry if your points don't show up. Just fax them the boarding passes and a copy of ticket receipt. They will post it for you once they verify the info. Most of the time, transactions with airlines within the US should show the detailed itinerary.
Answer
Finally 2 times in a row, one with SpanAir and one with Malaysia Airlines, the tickets posted on statement but without itinerary.
Surprisingly, SpanAir ticket got flight point posted automatically a month later(although no itinerary is shown on statement), will find out next month if Malysia Airline Ticket got flight point posted correctly as well without having to fax them the boarding passes and ticket receipt.
Answer
Has anyone ever had a case of a paper ticket (so no itin on statement) posting on its own, or have you always had to fax in?
Answer
I am unsure whether I have had paper or just electronic tix post, but I have got all the mileage posted automatically usually the next month. The only problem I have run into is when buying tix for others. They have had difficulty finding out how many people flew on the itin.
Answer
Personally, I wind up having to FAX them after every trip- either only one of two tickets post, or it doesn't post at all.
Worse, is that I get different reasons why every time, the fault is never with Citi - always the airline and/or me, and even different instructions on what to send in. If I'm lucky something happens after I FAX them but not always.
It's a lot of effort for a rewards program.

oh, my experience hasn't been that bad. the only e-tickets that haven't posted for me are the SQ ones and one lone UA itinerary. i've had at least 50 or so post properly in the past year
Answer
No problems here either, in fact I just had an SQ ticket post this month.
