Just got my Citi MC PremierPass statement:
May 2 AIR CAN - CAN CA ,26.75 CANADIAN DOLLAR Standard Purch $21.26
This equates to C$1.2582 to U$1, similar to Yahoo rate.
I couldn't locate any finance charge appears on my statement. Is it 0% now?

I actually noticed the same thing on my last statement. 1.9105 GBP->USD compared with interbank rate of 1.9065. Close enough to 0%. I've never actually charged anything in foreign currencies w/ Citi before this statement, so I wasn't sure if this was unusual or not. Have you charged in foreign currencies in previous months? If so, were you charged a conversion charge?

Why dont you call Citibank and ask about this specific charge directly? Some things are too good to be true.

MC stopped charging their 1% fee until Sep 30. Starting Oct 1, they will charge the credit card ISSUER 1%. The issuer will charge the cardholder as they see fit.

Right, but Citi changed their T&C months ago to indicate 3%. Which is why I never use Citi abroad. But I used it this once because I had stupidly buried my regular foreign exchange CC in a bag somewhere and only had the Citi to hand. So I was rather surprised to see a 0% conversion fee.
As for the previous poster who suggested calling... Well, I don't know of any banks that don't like taking your money. I figure this is probably a glitch on their part, so no sense in warning them of it.

If the glitch is permanent, then my Citi card will become my primary card overseas. :cool:

+1 here. But it is too good to be true while most company increasing the %.
