Question
I signed up for a 5x holiday points offer and spent a little over $5,000 during the time period of the offer. Instead of getting 5x points, I only got regular points. After waiting 2-3 months like they suggest, they claim that they have no record of me ever signing up for the offer. I did so over the phone, and they had one of those automatic telephone systems. The remaining 4x points that I'm owed total 21,188 points (equal to about a $125 credit statement). Does anyone have a suggested plan of action?

Keep calling back until you find the "right" CSR who is sympathetic. Ask for a supervisor. Other than voting with your wallet (ie, closing your account), it would suck if you spent all that money in hopes of taking advantage of the offer.
