Citibank Ultima Visa - super exclusive Asian Visa Card

Question
Anyone have any experience with the Citibank Ultima Visa Card. I beleive it has been quietly released in Singapore, Hong Kong, and India.
I posted about the bennefits in their press release last year, these included:-
a large cruiser for exclusive use of cardmembers
a Rolls Royce (with driver) for exclusive use of cardmembers
And it had many other rather interesting perks.
Has anyone got the card, and able to provide us with some feedback. Citibank said they would only release it to "hundreds" of people...so they were planning on keeping it rather exclusive.
I beleive the annual fee was around $1500 USD.
Anyone have one ????

Hmm, a RR for $1500/year, sounds like a good deal :D I can't believe those benefits are real.

Answer
Thats not one for EACH cardmember, but ONE car for the use of ALL cardmembers (I think that was in Singapore). Im not sure of the details, I assume you book it, and have to pay something, the question is How much ????

I was tempted by the 135000 Krisflyer miles joining bonus, but the other benefits are mediocre, to say the least. There's a S$2000 (about US$1200) joining fee (ah.. .so that's how they pay for the miles), and a $2500 (US$1500) annual fee. New signups no longer get the joining bonus so there's really no incentive for anyone to join. Citibank really did a bait and switch on this one.. SCtrojan, you're right, the benefits are *not* real.. let the rant begin..
- First, there's no yacht or Rolls-Royce. You get a chauffeured Maserati Quattroporte for 12 hrs at $1500 or a 4200 for 2 days at $2000.
- No SQ companion tickets. You get a companion ticket on Finnair if you buy a biz ticket for $7800, and only to selected European destinations. "Preferential rates" on CX(8 Asian destinations, blackout dates apply) and NWA(4 US destinations, conditions apply).
- Ultima Personal Assistant. Note: it's NOT a concierge. They only do stuff like arrange for plumbers and such. It's a very cut-down version of their much-hyped Gold Card concierge, although they will make reservations for you if you bug them...IMO, not worth the phone call. The Visa Infinite Concierge is heaps better. They allow email requests, have toll-free numbers worldwide and allow you to collect-call. Ultima makes you call long-distance at your own expense to your issuing country.
- Lounge access: 1 Prestige Priority Pass for the primary cardholder (and you have to apply for it yourself), zilch for the supplementary cardholders. (Infinite gives supps standard PP in the welcome package)
The other "perks" are not even worth mentioning. The welcome package advises you to look up their website for more benefits...which are the basic Citibank World Perks available to every Citibank cardmember..
BTW, these are the 2004 perks and many of them have already expired.I don't have the 2005 benefits, because when I called the UPA (in Feb) for this year's benefits, they sent the 2004 book..
It's super exclusive alright . .to an exclusive bunch of fools dumb enough to sign up for it ..
