Now that the consesnsus is to use the MBNA card for overseas purchases, and MBNA Amtrak no longer does UA, are there anyother MBNA cards to get airline miles? I thought I had seen somewhere LH uses MBNA but not sure.

Go to http://www.mbna.com/creditcards/travel_rewards.html for other frequent flyer credit cards offered by MBNA.
Other options are the EBay Anything Points card, whose points can be converted at Points.com and the Fidelity 1.5% rebate card if you have a Fidelity brokerage account.
