I was going to apply for UA MP Visa to get 17.5K miles but I did not see anywhere (both UAL website and B1 website) that they waive $60 annual fee for the 1st year. I believe I read somewhere before that the 1st year annual fee should be waived, is it correct? Does anybody have details? Did they change the offer recently?

In the past there was a 20K offer (still valid) with annual fee, and 15K offer without annual fee waived first year. So you would save $60 but lose 5,000 miles in doing so...
