Any alternative to the totally bad Bank One ......s?

Bak One is in the process of being swallowed up by Chase. I've had the Chase CO card since the 90's and just got the First USA MP card a few months ago. Overall, I think Chase has a more efficient and friendly operation. I understand from my local Chase Banker (not a ......) that Chase will be migrating Bank One's credit card and high street Banking business.
