Would anyone have any insight on opening an Account with The Swiss Postal service. There are agencies offering to do the paperwork for Euros 700, but, I imagine one can do it for no charge. Any ideas or advice?

I recommend you check out postfinance.ch. It is available in English, even though the brochures and application forms are not available in English.
I took a quick look and there are about 6 cards available. I assume you want to know about the MC or Visa cards. Fees seem to be CHF 80.- per year or less if you have other services with them.
I was unable to open the application form, so I don't know what the requirements are, but I assume you will need a mailing address within Switzerland.
Euros 700 for a Swiss Post credit card? :confused: I can't imagine why anyone would do that. :rolleyes: But hey... I have done some things others wonder about as well. :D
