Question
I've had the HP (America West) Flight Fund Classic for ~2 months. I fly HP a lot, and I'd love the 2:1 bonus for booking HP flights, in addition to the upgrade bonus miles from HP. Does anybody know how to make this happen? Has anybody ever had a classic credit card upgraded to platinum before?

Just call Bank of America (number on the back of your card) and tell them what you want to do. Be prepared to pay additional annual fees

Update: I called, and BoA advised they would comp anybody with FF Classic Visa to FF Platinum Visa if you have a FF Classic Visa with a credit limit of at least $5k. ^
