Best Card / Reward plan?

Question
My wife and I would appreciate some advice.
For years we have used MC & Visa cards providing "TravelerMiles" as their reward plan. This plan allowed points to be applied to airline tix at the rate of 6000 pts.=+$100 in $100 increments up to 24000 pts = RT or $400. We fly about 3 or 4 times a year usually in the two or three hundred dollar fare range so our old plan worked well for us.
We have just been notified that on Jan.1,2004 our reward plan will be changed to
"WorldPoints" which places the first redemption level at 25,000 pts = RT or $400.
We would gladly change credit cards to stay with "TravelerMiles" or a program like it.

Answer
You could check out Chase Travel Rewards and see if it fits your needs. You can redeem points for dollars off airline tickets, free tickets, or if you prefer, miles on CO. The program is free for the first year, $25 every year thereafter. I was with them for a while because I liked the flexibility in using earned points.

Answer
Here is what appears to be a very good article on these alternative points cards.

Also look at the bottom of the Credit Card section of Gary Steiger's wonderful website for some ideas.

Hope that helps.
