Question
How many miles does YOUR card require to fly anywhere with the 48 states?
A while back Capital One MilesOne sent me notice that their mileage requirements were changing. It's still 25,000 miles to fly within your "zone". (The US is divided into 3 zones.) BUT, they raised the mileage requirement from 25,000 to 35,000 to fly from one zone to another.
I'm considering changing from a Capital One/MilesOne card to a MBNA Worldpoints Platinum Plus card because of this increase in Capital One mileage requirements. HOWEVER, if some of you Cap One cardholders have the old lower mileage requirements, I'm going to call them and ask them to reinstate me to the old program (OR I change to MBNA!)
What do you think?
Thanks,
Marla
Answer
I have been useing the old tier with out any problem. I just got an award ticket for flying with in a zone for 18,000 miles. Hope this helps you.
Answer
Thanks Traveling Salesman, this is the information I was looking for. So, Capital One does have a better plan than the one I have! I'll call them and see if they can change me to the "better" plan.
