Question
Hi all, just wondering which one is better? i don't think i can spend $6k in one year, and without that getting over this limit Amex has only about 1% or even worse .5% but Citi's Cash Dividend is a straight foward 1% rebate.
inputs are appreciated!
Answer
You don't get cash rebates until you reach $100 on Citi Dividend Card, which means spending $10k. A straight 1% cash rebate (or better rebate card) for an accumulation of $25 or lower is better IMO.

Answer
Have you checked out the Chase Perfect Card?
http://creditcardsatchase.com/portal/site/marketing/?pgTitle=pg_perfectaqspec
It gives you 3% back on gas (6% for the first 90 days) and 1% on all other stuff. And the rebate is credited monthly. This card used to be called the "Chase Freedom Card". They changed the name recently.
Answer
Fobulus: Can you charge 6K of savings bonds for yourself or someone you know? This will get you to the higher rebate tier on the Citi rebate card.
Answer
There is also an Amex Blue Cash Back that supposedly (last time I checked) offered double cash back at gas stations, supermarkets, drugstores, etc. (whatever that means).
I like my Citibank Dividend. The best thing about it over the AmEx is that they take it everywhere they take Credit Cards. (take the acceptance limitations into consideration when doing the math)
Search this forum. People have discussed Chase Gas Card (?) some good deal from MBNA etc. I noticed recently that every one of the "big" CC issuers has some kind of a cash back card (Bank One/First USA, MBNA, Citibank etc.)
