Question
Quick question. Anyone know if my domestic partner can get the card, but tie it to my FF account? I'm Plat and she isn't and I understand there is a current deal for 5,000 status miles on sign up.
I don't currently qualify for one because I did Citibank wrong (though paid it off eventually) more than ten years ago! (Talk about holding a grudge).
Thanks

As long as you paid off your Citibank Card(s) in full and you have a good credit record, you should be able to get a Citibank Card. All creditors are forgiving as long as you pay them off and have good credit
Answer
One would think so. I have triple A credit these days but was denied the card specifically because I didn't "fulfill the terms of the credit card agreement" previously. I didn't even know it was legal to use information that old. Even a bankruptcy can't stay on your credit report that long. Not that they are reporting anything negative to credit reporting agencies, they are just consulting their internal records.
