I have a first usa card and my anuual fee is due next month...
I would sure like to have that 15k bonus...
anyone get a second card, get the bonus and then cancel the first????

I'm doing just that. I've upgraded to the Gold Class Visa but to get the 15,000 mile bonus, I had to re-apply. Now that I have received the new card I'm consolidating the 2 accounts. See:

I got the first card for my g/f during the 10k promo, just got a 2nd card 2 months ago, another 15k. I forgave the 5k referral bonus I would have gotten so I could do the enrollment online, figure less chance of an agent rejecting the 2nd application.
