We opened a VISA card last month-LL Beam. I checked my account last night to find the account had been Closed! We haven't even received our first bill. We called, finally got a supervisor. He said it was 'human error', but it was closed due to "bad credit". We said WHAT, bad credit. He apologized and activated it. He offers nothing else for our emotional distress. Anyone else ever experienced such a problem?

What a world we've created when compensation is expected for "emotional distress" brought on by a simple mistake that was corrected and didn't cause any damage.
Haven't we any shame any more?
