Question
If you set up an online payment with Citibank, it allows you to pay only $1000 first time and does not allow you to pay again for another 15 days saying "for security purposes" It is for earning interst forcibly leaving you no option to pay your balance off.
I have not seen this nefarious practice in any other credit card site,

This is a rip-off because why? Is it like the bank won't allow you to make a payment by mail?
Citibank is not the only credit card company to do this. Cap One does not allow large payments online for the first two weeks after enrollment.
