I am getting ready to sign up for the Starwood AMEX. Can someone tell me if they run double mile promo's every once in awhile like the AE Gold SkyMiles card does? Thanks!

I've had the card since the beginning and keep hoping for double points. I have a feeling that it may never happen given their low $30 annual fee. Their Hilton card also has never seen double points.

That's absolutely not true! There were numerous double points promos for the Hilton AmEx card in the past few years (both targeted and available to everyone), the last one ending just three days ago (double points for charges in August, September, and October, targeted offer, minimum spending required).

I've been keeping my eye on the Hilton card and never noticed this. This is starting to make me re-think the Hilton program. Thanks for the info.
