Question
Hello. I have the Platinum Dividend Select (1% cash back ) and I'm thinking of dumping that for the Citibank AAdvantage World MC.
I don't want 2 Mastercards.
But I have a decent credit limit on my Platinum select, and I want to close the account and move the credit over to new AAdvantage card. I don't want to be stuck with a lower credit limit than what I already have if I close the Platinum card.
AMEX can do this no prob, anyone did this at Citibank?

I have done the other way, AAdvantage MC -> Platinum Dividend Select, without a problem. Instead of filling out an application, just call Citibank and ask them to switch. You should get same credit limit...
