If you want the UA Visa card, read this

Question
My wife recently applied for and received this card. With her new card was an offer to sign up friends.
If you plan to sign up for this card, email me first for me to give you a referring Mileage Plus number. You get 15,000 miles for getting the card and she gets a 5,000 mile bonus. There's a limit of three new sign ups for bonus miles.
Many thanks in advance.

The benefit is good karma. As I have contributed to this community for many years; its nice to know others will do something nice in return.

I'll second that!
Must we always want to know, "what's in it for me?" I've taught my children better than that. Unfortunately, some parents haven't done as good of a job.

Oh Please!
Everybody wants something for themselves. To think otherwise is plain naivete.
You believe in "Good karma," eh?
Ok....give me your wife's 15k points plus the other 15k you'll get for referrals to MOI.
You'll be helping me out to work my tan in the Carribbean.....And you'll get karma points to boot (much more valuable than FF pts)! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Answer
Good karma is if you take that 5,000 referral miles and donated it charity.

Answer
I called MP Visa and asked whether they have any promotions that's better than 15K bonus miles...the CSR said they have one for 20K and gave me a number to call...I called that number and the CSR on this number asked me whether I was contacted by anyone with that offer..if not she asked me to wait until someone calls me and offer that deal!!
So it looks like there is a promotion out there that offers 20K...who knows may be in a few days they will start offereing 20K for everyone!!
I was also looking at Gold Classic..it doesn't have anything more attractive than the regular MP Visa card..but it is $85.!

I'll go one better as I have donated $1,500 this year to the Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation.

Thank you very much for the one person that applied/approved for this card with me as their referral. Since I have no idea who you are, I wanted to thank you here!
THANKS!

Charity is a good thing as long as those con-artists apply that money to the cause.
MANY charity executives have been caught with their pants down abusing that gift money for personal reasons--including plane trips for mistresses! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
It's just better to hand that money to the person in need yourself.

Good for you MileageAddict on getting the 5,000 miles. I signed up about 3 or 4 months ago with Visa. Had I known I would have referred you for the bonus. It would have cost me absolute nothing. I guess it hurts others to see someone benefit if they get nothing. Not me.
