Question
I have had Subaru MC card for the past few years, and have collected over $3000 rebates on each of the 2 cards (me and my wife). since MBNA just cancelled the program, I have another year and half to redeem. Does anyone have any experiences redeeming? is it as easy as the GM card? can I combine my card, and my wife's rebates (since you can use Suraru rebates to buy accesories and services, so I thought I would use my rebates to buy the card, and my wife's to buy options/accessories)?
your comments would be appreciated.
Answer
Recently I used $800 in subaru/mbna vouchers towards the purchase of new forester without any problems - after I negotiated the price. The dealer would get reimbursed in cash anyway so they even didn't care how much I had in vouchers. Why don't you combine both yours and your wife's vouchers towards a car purchase - you'll get a nice price brake.

thanks for the reply, I thought I was the only person with Subaru card.
can I combine me and my wife's rebates? I know you can't do that with GM, so I was thinking pay for the car with one, and purcahse options with the other.
I am glad to hear that Subaru MC is easy to redeem.

I think it's all depends on a dealer - basically if you use not expired vouchers - it really doesn't matter to them since they will get real cash anyway.

MBNA just cancelled the card, it was 3% rebates on Subaru car/accessories/services.
