You can get a $400.00 value ticket for just 20000 points and earn one point per dollar. That makes a point worth .02 if you use the full value, which is more then most programs of its type which are closer to .01-.015 Looks like a winner for now, just wait for them to change redemption levels right about the time most people get close to 20000 points...

If you pay your bill in full every month, it looks marginally better than standard mileage cards. You can get a free RT for 20,000 dollars spent, versus 25,000 for a standard mileage card.

The problem is the $400 limit. My MBNA card implemented a similar policy in January so I cancelled it. For me, $400 doesn't work on fares from PHL to the Western US. It's OK if I fly to Florida, but it's a waste of points to redeem them for a $200 ticket.
