Alaska Air vs. US Air

Question
I live in Charlotte and hit US Gold annually. I am thinking about getting a corporate Visa card that will rack up about $20k per year in charges.
I see that Bank of American offers not only a US Air card but also an Alaska Air card. Alaska seems to have a ton more partners than does US Air.
Any suggestions on which card I should go for?

Answer
As a Charlotte resident you clearly need to choose the US Air card becaus of the bonus for using the card to purchase US Air tickets and the fact that you almost have to fly US Air to get anywhere from Charlotte. I charge at least 60K/year on their Platinum card. I believe 10K of the miles count as Preferred miles for the Dividend Miles program (I am also a Charlotte resident.)

Answer
That's the direction I was leaning as well. The uncertainty regarding their future is one reason to hesitate, but perhaps I just roll the dice...I don't have a lot of airline choices anyway so I might as well be able to fly the dominant one for free when I want to.
