According to the Visa website, Visa Signature cardholders are granted complimentary car rental upgrades with Thrifty. Has anyone used this benefit ? Do you get a one car class upgrade or something else ?

Seems to me that most of the benefits vary by issuing bank. I don't know if this is one of them or not, but I know for sure you can find supposed Visa Signature (or whatever level Visa or MC) benefits on the Visa site that are not included with some actual cards.

It's a part of the preferred travel program. The link to the Thrifty page is also there on the visa signature website.
