I have heard some bad things about this card which their customer service is the main gripe...
Also I understand that this card caps at $800...and the only card that does not have cap is AMEX's Platinum Cash Rebate is this true?
Trying to find a nice rebate card...

I'm very happy with the FB card.
Customer Service is satisfactory. You must realize going in that this card is offered by a relatively small bank, and not a full service credit card company. This means reduced hours for "live" customer service (7AM-7PM central), minimal weekend support, and their web site does not match the sophistication of a FirstUSA, Citibank, or Amex. They do have a 24 hour number for lost cards and fraud prevention.
Their cap is 60K points a year ($1 = 1 point), which translates to approx $1,200 (35K points = $700), you must redeem points in 35K increments to get full 2%.
I switched from the Amex rebate card last year. Since Visa is accepted more places than Amex, I think I'm getting maximum value, because before I'd have to carry a visa/mc backup card, which meant no rebate for that spend.
