I am the pimary cardholder and my wife is the secondary cardholder of an AAdvantage World MC.
Are the accured miles transferable (my guess would be "no")?

No.
Not only are the miles not transferable, but miles must accrue only for the Primary cardholder. You cannot designate future miles to accrue in your wife's name unless you set up a separate account with her as the Primary cardholder.

If you would like to transfer miles to your wife, open an Amex account. You can transfer to a spouse through Membership Rewards or specific Amex cards such as Starpoints.

If you want to actually transfer miles out from an airline's FF account to a different FF account, you cannot do this with an AMEX Skymiles card.
Like the Citibank AAdvantage card, miles accrue only for the primary cardholder.
