I just got a new Northwest Affinity Card from US Bank. How long does it usually take from the time I pay my first bill until it will post my bonus miles and purchases on my NWA account?

I don't remember how long it took for my initial bonus to post, but the miles from purchases post within a few days of the statement date, sometimes even before I have received it.

The bonuses sometimes take a little longer, but usually its pretty quick - almost always in time for the next statement. You know that you can now check the details of your WorldPerks account online at nwa.com

Monthly miles post regularly a few days after the statement. I did not get a signup bonus since I have a free card (though someone mentioned a 1000 mile bonus for it). Recently I signed up for direct deposit for which they offered 1500 miles. I signed up about six weeks ago, have not seen the bonus miles.

The 1000 bonus for the free card is if you take a minimum $1000 advance (as cash or to pay off other bills) and keep a balance any balance) for at least 6 months.
What exactly do you mean by "direct deposit"?

I meant that I signed up so that the credit card balance would be automatically paid off in full each month from my checking account. I received an offer in the mail to sign up for it and receive 1500 miles if I signed up.
