Question
My husband and I are owner/operators. We are having a difficult time in trying to find some health, dental and optical insurance just for the two of us. Both of us are in our middle 40's, we don't smoke nor drink and also in good health.
Any suggestions where I can get some information and or leads?
Answer
is to contact a local independent insurance agent. Health insurance is not only difficult, but pricey. An agent can explain your options and shop for the best product to meet your needs.
Answer
Try contacting the chambor of commerce at your city haul. I did this a few years back, i had to join the chamber. I was then able to get health insurance thru there group. It was pricey as all blue cross is, but it was much cheaper than what i could get on my own. I couldn't even get this good a plan without beening a member of some group. Try also vfw, masons, itam (if your italian) french club(if your french) you get the jist? ooida, nait, i found if you can get into a group plan options will open up. Hope this helps worked for me untill wife went back to work.
Answer
Check with Blue Cross/Slue Shield, if they are in your area. I went with them because they have the most competitive rates.
Truck safe.
