I was wondering if any one out there in this forum could tell me how the insurance company's work as far as being a driver with a clean motor vehicle record.If you can tell me I'm interested to find out.

Insurance is based on the declared value of your truck, your deductible (the higher it is, the cheaper insurance is... standard is $1000.00), your age, your driving record, and your limits you set when applying for the policy.

Insurance companies look at the operation, age and experience of the drivers, the MVR's, previously insurance and claim history. With all that, they determine if the risk fits their program and if so, they calculate a rate.
